Fynch offers smart software tools that spark behaviour change to improve the sustainability of mobility and increase road safety. We developed their new brand identity for digital and print.
Capturing sustainability and tech in a visual language
Fynch was founded because the need for improved sustainability and more efficient mobility is an evergrowing point of attention for a lot of companies nowadays. By offering smart software tools to motivate people to make a change in their behavior they do their bit to make the planet a better and cleaner place for the future.
The challenge for us was to combine these key values in the visual identity for Fynch. On the one hand we wanted to have a really techy and sleek design feeling and on the other hand we wanted to emphasize the sustainable character of the brand.
We accomplished this by using a custom drawn font that is based on geomtric shapes and has a very extended and rounded feel to it. We combined this with a graphical element thas has a really basic organic shape and adding high contrast natural patterns to it.
Next to this we also wanted the brand identity to feel fresh and different compared to other brands in the same industry. In general they followed the known path, using earthy colors and of course the color green. We chose to go for colours that are a bit more “out there”. A more aqua green combined with a strong deep purple. Again, this was also done to emphasize the tech / sustainable combination.

By applying these to the high contrast natural patterns it creates a bold and slightly surrealistic atmosphere while maintaining a natural and organic feel. Again, this was also done to emphasize the tech / sustainable combination.
02. App design
Interface design for the Fynch app
Clean and simple. User friendly. Open. Those were the key values during the design process. We we completely re-styled the existing app to match the new corporate identity and made it a lot more user friendly by making new icons sets, re-ordering lay-outs and adding hierarchy.

Last but not least, we also designed and developed the website. Incorporating the visual brand identity and highlighting the digital tools Fynch offers to monitor and improve sustainablitiy and road safety. Visually we used magnified graphical data elements, like al kind of graphs and charts from the tools. Keeping it clean and simple for users while maintaining a visual balance between tech and sustainability.
